Elon Musk Shares the Last Photo of Tesla Roadster Floating in Space

On Tuesday,  February 6th, history was made. Falcon Heavy, the largest rocket ever, was successfully launched in space by Space X. But this wasn’t all – on the board of the Falcon, Elon Musk decided to put something unusual – a Tesla Roadster with a Starman behind the wheel.

Sending a Tesla in space to float through the Solar System may seem like an odd decision but it got us all talking about it. On Tuesday night, Musk shared with an Instagram post that the Roadster has overshot the orbit of Mars and has headed to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

In a recent Instagram post with a caption “Last pic of Starman in Roadster enroute to Mars orbit and then the Asteroid Belt”, Musk shares the last photo of the Roadster and the Starman behind the wheel, as the car continues its float in space. *Click on the link below to see the original photo*
