To get into the summer vibe, this week we present to you three successful startups that are changing the travel industry. Today we are introducing Boaterfly, Holidu and Withlocals.


Founded in 2013, Boaterfly is the first European peer-to-peer rental platform for all kinds of boats. The travelers are able to rent a boat with or without captain anywhere in France and to choose among over 200 destinations. The owners are able to list their boats which allows them to generate extra income while sharing their passion for the sea with other people.



Founded in 2014, Holidu is a startup that helps its users to easily find the right holiday accommodations. The company is making the search fast and easy by comparing the vacation rentals from hundreds of travel websites. Holidu is simplifying the booking process, helping their users to save time and effort as the average query takes a mere 0.2 seconds to deliver their search results.



Founded in 2013, Withlocals is a platform that offers to their users one unique travel experience by connecting local hosts with the travelers. Withlocals allows you to choose your destination, to find “your local” and to personalize the experience by choosing the activities according to your wants and taste.
